Easter Weekend

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter.
Ours was very relaxing. It started out early, on Thursday Gammie came by for a visit and brought some goodies.
Saturday Grandad and Mimi stopped by to see Becca in her new pool, Grandad could not resist but to give Becca some ice cream. Of course she loved it. I was so busy playing with Becca and catching up that I didn't get any pictures of Becca playing in the pool. I promise to get some next time.
(Becca with Mimi after Grandad gave her some ice cream)

Sunday we went to late Sunday service. Afterwards we went to Grandad's for Easter lunch.

That evening we had Easter Dinner at Deedee's and Grandpa's

Love her smile

Becca loved this porcelain dog at Grandad's and Deedee's house. It looks a lot like her real dog
at home.

Overall, it was a wonderful spring weekend filled with family and love. I am looking forward to
Becca's 1st Easter egg hunt next year.

7 months

" Hi, I'm new here"
(Great Grandma Betty gave her this onesie)

(HAHA- blackmail when they get older)

Let's go Yankees
(From her great Aunt Nancy from NY)

Yup, Becca is 7 months old! Well, she will be 8 months next week.
She has had a great month.
She crawls everywhere! She learned to pull herself up to standing!
People keep telling me she will be walking by 9 months and I just can't imagine my little baby girl walking!!!
I love her little personality. Wait, did I say little? I mean big personality. She is a happy baby. She loves kisses. She loves to laugh. She loves music and likes when her Daddy plays the guitar for her. She loves her dog Allie and is trying her best to show her that she just wants to be friends (Allie would still like us to "return" her and be our only baby). Becca is a very busy baby and really doesn't stop moving unless she is asleep.
She eats very well and really doesn't have one food she doesn't like. She would prefer to have finger foods all the time. She is still breastfeeding every 3 hours. We are trying to get her to use a sippy cup with mommy's milk, but it is still a work in progress. The next 5 months are going to be very busy. In June, Jason and I will be going to Mexico for my brother's wedding and will be leaving her with Jason's parents. I just can't imagine being without her for 72 hours, but I know she will be in amazing hands and Jason and I could use a mini vacation. In July, we get to go on a family vacation and are REALLY looking forward to the fun we will have at Lake Lure, NC.
On Becca's first birthday we will be attending Jason's cousin's wedding! We are so excited and can't wait.
We are looking forward to all the fun we are about to have in the next few months and will keep you posted with the details.
